Preventative Maintenance (PM)

PM is an essential part of laboratory equipment servicing. We can carry out preventative maintenance on dissolution testers, disintegration testers, tablet hardness testers and other related tablet testing equipment.

During your visit our skilled engineers will carry out a full maintenance check on your equipment. This includes a check for worn components alongside the mechanical and electrical systems. We will then advise or rectify any issues found as necessary. A complete maintenance check-list is filled in and given to the customer upon completion. Please call the TLS service department and they will be happy to assist you. Alternatively you can click on the icon below to register your enquiry directly.

Operation Qualification (OQ)

Dissolution and other tablet testing equipment should be checked at either 6 or 12 monthly intervals at which the critical functions of the system are checked to ensure accordance with the latest requirements as laid down by the appropriate pharmacopoeia. Any customer specific requirements can also be followed. As standard we perform the operational qualification as per the USP enhanced mechanical qualification. We can qualify dissolution testers, disintegration testers, tablet hardness testers and other tablet testing equipment as necessary.

The operation qualification is performed by the skilled engineers of the TLS laboratory equipment servicing department. Our service engineers are fully trained and will bring with them all the equipment and tools necessary to perform the OQ. All measuring tools used by TLS are calibrated yearly and are traceable to national standards.

TLS provide The customer on completion of the work a complete booklet containing the relevant SOP’s and PP’s, calibration certificates of the measuring instruments used, a service report detailing the work performed and a copy of engineers training certificates.

SOP’s and PP’s can be supplied to the customer in advance to ensure they meet with their requirements and approval.

TLS will keep copies of the documentation supplied to the customer to provide a customer equipment database. This will ensure we have the complete service history on every piece of equipment, detailing its calibrations, repair details and all documentation including service reports and calibration certificates.
