The TLS laboratory equipment servicing department will be happy to help you fix any minor problems over the phone or try to advise a possible solution to the problem.
If the unit cannot be fixed over the phone, you can return it to us. We will inspect the unit and give you a full quotation for the work required. TLS have extensive workshop facilities that allow us to undertake repairs, rebuilds or upgrades. Once the quotation has been agreed the work will be carried out on the unit and will be returned to you, ensuring the shortest down time. If the repair is subject to a delay, TLS may be able to offer a loan unit for the period of the repair, Free of charge. Our engineers have vast experience on all manufacturers and models of instruments, even instruments that are well over 10 years old can usually be repaired.
If the unit is too big to be returned, such as a dissolution tester, we can send our service engineer to you. This is called a call out visit. Where possible we will endeavour to send our service engineer as soon as possible and if available we would send them the next day. Again, leaving you with minimal down time.
