ERWEKA has announced their SVM II tapped density tester can now test according to USP 3. This latest innovation means the SVM II is now capable of testing all three USP methods on a single device.
USP 3 tapped density testing uses a 100 ml cylindric stainless steel vessel that is repeatedly filled by the user after each test as described in USP <616>. The SVM II then automatically calculates the results, and if necessary, prompts the user to repeat testing.
